Our group is seeking a highly motivated candidate willing to begin a PhD in the field of nanostructured materials. Research activities include the development of functional materials or polymer devices, using continuous nanoprinting techniques.
The PhD student will participate in the development of continuous imprinting for the fabrication of solar concentrating microlenses incorporating func- ional coatings.
The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on nanofabrication processes in polymeric materials, aiming to create functional surfaces with tailored attributes.
Requirements:
- Master Degree or equivalent: Chemistry, Physics, Materials Engineering, Industrial Enginieering or similar.
- Excellent academic record (>7/10 scale)
- Interest in micro/nanotechnology
- Computer skills: MATLAB, Origin, Labview, AUTOCAD, SolidWorks, Python
- Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English.
