Our group is seeking a highly motivated candidate willing to pursue a PhD in the field of nanostructured materials. This position is offered within the framework of the Project 4EVERPV project (Ref TEC-2024/ECO-72) funded by the Community of Madrid R&D Programme in Technologies 2024.

Offer description

Our group is seeking a highly motivated candidate willing to begin a PhD in the field of nanostructured materials. Research activities include the development of functional materials or polymer devices, using continuous nanoprinting techniques.

The PhD student will participate in the development of continuous imprinting for the fabrication of solar concentrating microlenses incorporating functional coatings. 

The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on nanofabrication processes in polymeric materials, aiming to create functional surfaces with tailored attributes.

Requirements:

- Master Degree or equivalent

- Excellent academic record (>7/10 scale)

- Interest in micro/nanotechnology

- Computer skills: MATLAB, Origin, Labview, AUTOCAD, SolidWorks, Python

- Must be highly proficient in written and spoken English.
