Summary:
A research position for one Research Grant (“Bolsa de Investigação Pós-doutoral“) is open at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project BlackHolePT – Black holes, holography and phase transitions. This project is funded by FCT/MCTES through national funds and when applicable co-funded EU funds under the CERN/FIS-PAR/0023/2019 project reference.
Work Objectives:
To study tidal effects (Love numbers) of black holes with Gauss-Bonnet corrections.
Place of work:
The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações – Lisboa, under the supervision of Professor Filipe Moura.
Duration:
3 months. Start date: March 16th, 2023 or soon thereafter.

Skills/Qualifications
Admission Requirements:
- Completed PhD in Physics in the subject of black hole physics;
- The PhD must have been obtained in the last 3 years and the research work shouldn't have been developed at IT - Lisboa, along with the other conditions set by the Fellowship Regulation of Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia.

Benefits
Monthly salary:
1686 € according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (https://former.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/docs/Tabela_de_Valores_SMM_2022.pdf) / according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by Instituto de Telecomunicações. The payment will be made by bank transfer.

Each criteria, and the final classification F will be evaluated in a scale (0-20). The candidates will be ordered according to:
F = C1 x 75% + C2 x 25%
In case of a tie, the tied candidates will be ordered according to C1, then C2...
