Offer Description
The project aims to develop an innovative subunit vaccine based on recombinant antigens engineered for enhanced stability and immunogenicity.Protein engineering strategies will be employed to generate multimeric antigens, alongside conjugation techniques to protein carriers, with the goal of optimizing antigen presentation and density. The project also foresees the use of novel adjuvants and advanced delivery platforms to modulate and enhance the immune response.Biochemical and structural characterization methods will be applied, together with in vitro immunological assays and in vivo preclinical models,to evaluate both humoral and cellular immune responses. This research is part of translational efforts aimed at targeting immune responses against emerging pathogens, with potential applications in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors,as well as patentable outcomes.
