We are announcing a post-doctoral position for the development of the project titled: “Advanced Simulations of Zeolite Catalytic processes, combined with synchrotron coherent X-ray diffraction imaging methods”, scheduled to begin in the second half of 2025 at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). The candidate will be responsible for the simulations with MD and DFT of zeolite catalytic processes, and will participate with the research group, to synchrotron coherent diffractive imaging experiments. This position is part of the project “Imaging working catalysts/Catalytic correlations in nanoporous materials”, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) through grant number 2021/06876-1.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or related fields, with experience in simulation methods such as Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Molecular Dynamics (MD), and, optionally, in X-ray scattering or diffraction.

The vacancy is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral Scholarship from FAPESP in the amount of R$12000 per month, and a Research Contingency Fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the scholarship to cover expenses directly related to the research activity.
