Offer Description
Faculty of Exact and Technical Sciences, Institute of Mathematics, University of Rzeszów seeks candidates to fill the position of University First Stage Researcher (R1) in the discipline of mathematics MAIN OBLIGATIONS:
• conducting scientific research in the discipline of mathematics in the field of functional equations and inequalities, theory of means and their applications,
• conducting classes for students in the field of mathematics, including the use of IT tools,
• preparation of scientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals,
• preparation of grant projects,
• dissemination of research results (participation in scientific conferences, popularization of science),
• cooperation with socio-economic environment,
• performing administrative tasks related to scientific, teaching and organizational activities of the Institute of Mathematics.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• scientific curriculum vitae (CV),
• personal questionnaire,
• summary of professional accomplishments,
• information on scientific, didactic and organizational achievements,
• list of publications,
• the candidate’s references provided by two Professors or Associate Professors,

• certificate or information confirming the candidate’s command of English,
• copies of documents confirming qualifications (Ph. D. diploma or equivalent, etc.),

Skills/Qualifications
• Ph.D. degree in mathematics,
• current scientific achievements in the field of mathematics, indexed in the Scopus or Web of Sciences databases (at least one paper published in 2022-2024 in a journal included in the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, which has been assigned at least 100 points),
• research interests in the field of functional equations and inequalities, and their applications
• optional, other certificates confirming the qualifications held,
• fluency in English language, both spoken and written,
• fluency in Polish language, both spoken and written (applies to foreigner candidates).
