The primary objective of this project, carried out within the European Social Fund Plus framework (ESF2_f3_0006), is to carry out foundational research in the context of combining data-driven learning and symbolic
process mining with application to procedural activity understanding from multi-modal streams. The research activity foresees scientific contributions to advance state of the art in any of the following areas: video and
multimodal action/activity recognition and forecasting, continual learning, domain adaptation, process modeling and
mining, vision and language models (VLM).
