How will you contribute?

 

You will be contributing to the research and development of the agent platform part of the BESSER project. Not only from a technical perspective but also studying the impact and benefits of agents in a social context using a combination of empirical software techniques.

BESSER is aimed at building better smart software faster and in this project we will investigate the role of multi-agent systems in the project. Both agents to help in the development of the software built with the platform and on the use of low-code BESSER techniques to speed up the development of new agents.

In particular, on the one side, you’ll be working on the development of new components for the BESSER agentic framework. In the other hand, you’ll be working on projects that study the application and impact of agents in a variety of domains, including the technical testing but also their social impact.

A combination of software, AI, and empirical analysis techniques will be used.

 

You will be in charge of:

  • Extending the BESSER Agentic platform with new platforms and components
  • Develop bots / agents and multi-agent systems to tackle the needs of industrial projects
  • Empirically evaluating the quality and impact of such agents
  • Ensuring the scalability and quality of the platform under different conditions
  • Participating to research papers and materials presenting and promoting BESSER

Education

PhD in Computer Science or similar areas

 

Experience and skills in

  • Software language engineering
  • NLP / LLMs and other AI techniques
  • Agent / bot development
  • Empirical software techniques
  • Conducting and publishing research on some of these topics

 

Language skills

  • Excellent level of both written and spoken English
