Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellows in photonics and optoelectronics in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 531285), to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics, or relevant areas. Those with experience in optoelectronic devices, nanophotonics, and nanofabrication are welcome to apply. The appointees will work with Prof. Shuang Zhang to pursue research in nanophotonic devices. Prof. Zhang’s research interests cover a wide range of topics in photonics, including, but not limited to, topological metamaterials, metasurfaces, non-linear optics, etc. The current publications of Prof. Zhang group’s can be found at: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=sepjZ3sAAAAJ&hl=en

A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
