Outline

Opportunity for PhD students from foreign countries to come to Rio de Janeiro (“reverse-sandwich”) and Brazilians to go abroad to carry out part of their doctoral studies.
For incoming candidates, potential supervisors from Brazilian host institutions will place applications on behalf of the students.

Eligibility

PhD students from foreign countries (incoming) and PhD students at a university or research institute base in the State of Rio de Janeiro (outgoin)

What is funded

round-trip tickets, settling-in allowance, health insurance and a monthly stipend

Duration

4 to 12 months
