Offer Description
The project "National Platform for Semiconductor Technologies (PNTS)” – Electronic Registration Number/SMIS Code 304244, based on the financing contract no. G 2024-85828/390008/27.11.2024. Implementation period: 27.11.2024 – 26.11.2029.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the Competitiveness Operational Programme 2021–2027.
The main objective of the PNTS project is to support Romania’s involvement in the European strategic field of Microelectronics by revitalizing the national ecosystem in semiconductor technologies through the development and technological transfer of products and services for key integrative industries.
The project is implemented in partnership with five nationally representative research organizations.

Skills/Qualifications
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial environment - product development including thermo-mechanical reliability
• Proven experience through publishing papers in journals or in the volumes of scientific events, in the field of theoretical and experimental thermo-mechanical analysis of materials and structures (min. 30 papers indexed in international databases, of which at least two ISI-Q1 or ISI-Q2)
Specific Requirements
• Experience in Ansys, Autodesk Fusion, MATLAB, LabView
• Proven experience in the field of Theoretical and experimental analysis of materials, including polymers

15.09.2025- display of appeals resolution + interview scheduling in the event that there will be at least two candidates for the same position admitted to the evaluation stage of application files / final results in case the interview test is not organized
16.09.2025– interview test, Rectorate building, room R420.
17.09.2025- posting of interview test results
18.09.2025- submission of interview test appeals
19.09.2025- resolution of interview appeals and communication of final results
