Offer Description
This job aims to analyze climate and perinatal health data available on the platform www.climaterna.com.br and is linked to the Brazilian Institute of Data Science – BI0S, one of the Applied Research Centers in Artificial Intelligence (ARC-AI) established by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in partnership with Brazil's Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br). BI0S's main objective is to develop applied research in Data Science, Applied Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence, with variations in applicability across several sectors.
The job is open to candidates of any nationality, with a doctorate degree in areas related to health sciences or data science obtained up to seven years before the scholarship's acceptance date, and fluency in Portuguese and English.
The work will take place at the State University of Campinas's School of Medical Sciences (FCM-UNICAMP). This project is suitable for a highly motivated individual and requires skills and prior experience in health data analysis and climate data; experience in international projects will be a differential in the selection process.

The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
