LATVIAN BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH AND STUDY CENTRE
Announces a competition for an academic staff position: Researcher (1 position – Biology).
Requirements:
• PhD degree (early-career researcher)
• Experience in omics data processing, analysis, and interpretation
• Skills in molecular biology (e.g., RNA/DNA extraction, NGS library preparation, rt-qPCR, etc.)
• At least two publications demonstrating the above-mentioned skills and experience
• Strong interest or prior experience in plant-microorganism interactions research will be considered an advantage
• Ability to work in a team; previous experience in supervising or mentoring students will be considered an advantage
• Good command of the English language and strong communication skills
Salary: From €5.69 to €19.52 per hour, depending on education, workload, and involvement in project execution.

If the higher education degree, scientific/academic degree was obtained abroad, a certificate confirming its equivalence to a degree or diploma awarded in Latvia is required. Additionally, applicants must provide a Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing their scientific, pedagogical, and organizational work experience, a list of published scientific works from the last two years, and any other documents they wish to include to better showcase their qualifications.
