Offer Description
The correct identification and classification of adrenal tumors is pivotal for an adequate management. Around 30% of adrenal tumors have oncologic potential. Distinguishing those tumors in clinical practice is still a challenge, leading to diagnostic delays, time-consuming and costly investigations. Moreover, there is still a lack of appropriate biomarkers that may help in the diagnosis of tumors with oncologic potential. The aims of the proposal are: 1) To apply innovative techniques for the characterization and identification of adrenal tumors with oncologic potential 2) To validate these approaches to integrate them in clinical practice.
