Description
We invite applications from candidates with a strong interest and experience in studying the social determinants of health, with a particular focus on quantitative methods. Research topics may include, but are not limited to, social networks, aging and well-being, and health inequalities across the life course. The successful candidate is expected to work closely with the supervising host (lea-ellwardt.de) and must be present in the department for a minimum of four days per week. The position is based in the Department of Sociology and Social Psychology, Germany’s top-ranked research institute in Sociology, which has held an excellent international reputation for many years. One of the department’s key research areas is demography and social inequality.
Please note that applicants must comply with the elegibilty criterias of the MSCA PF 2025 call (must have a PhD degree at the time of the deadline for applications; must have a maximum of 8 years of experience in research and should comply with MSCA PF Mobility Rule, available in the “2.3.2. Recruited researchers” section, p. 121/142 of the Work Programme MSCA 2023-2025).
