OFFER DESCRIPTION
The position is to conduct research in the PRAGMA project, funded by the European Research Council (ERC). In particular, the project focuses on algorithms and computational complexity of multiwinner elections.

Eligibility criteria
Candidate meeting all the criteria with the strongest record of academic achievement and most relevant experience for the project will be selected (in particular, research experience in computational social choice, with a particular focus on multiwinner elections, will be considered a strong advantage).
The successful candidate should either be a PhD student or should become a PhD student before being hired. If this requirement is not fulfilled by October 15th, 2021 then the results of the contest become void.
Selection process
A hiring committee will meet and decide on the selection of the successful candidates. The committee may contact the applicants and schedule an on-line interview.

Skills/Qualifications
- A master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline,
- the above-mentioned degree must be recognized in Poland,
- scientific results (e.g., in the applicant’s master’s thesis or in research publications) in the areas of algorithms or computational complexity (results connected to computational social choice will be a strong plus),
- proficiency in the English language (at least on the B-2 level).
