Candidates working on such topics as leadership development at individual and team levels, CEOs, and executive boards would have an advantage. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of relevant research published in a top tier journals and experience in leadership development education at both MSc and MBA levels. The position is embedded in a supportive international work environment of the Organisational Behaviour and HRM research section of the Management and Organisation Department of the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Your duties

• initiate and perform high-quality research in the field of leadership (development), culminating in top tier publications and grant acquisitions
• initiate and develop executive leadership development programmes
• Teach and design courses at the postgraduate level (e.g., full-time/part-time PhD programmes; executive education), master level (e.g., MSc Business Administration, and/or MBA and Executive MBA), and bachelor level (e.g., the SBE International Business Administration); supervise bachelor and master theses
• contribute to the management of the Department / School (e.g., by serving on committees)
• be committed to obtaining a university teaching qualification, or to possess one already
