Offer Description
The proposed investigation by the researcher aims to support the formulation and implementation of the National Policy for Specialized Health Care (PNAES) within the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) and, specifically:
1. To implement training-intervention strategies focused on care management and regional governance of healthcare networks, fostering the implementation of the PNAES;
2. To evaluate the implementation of the PNAES based on the training-intervention approach in the 20 health regions where the course will be conducted;
3. To develop an Observatory on Specialized Care for the SUS.
To be eligible for the position, the candidate must reside in the city of São Paulo (São Paulo state, Brazil), where the project's host institution is located.
Applicants must demonstrate competencies (knowledge and skills) in the following areas:
- Evaluation of educational processes in postgraduate lato sensu health programs within the SUS;
- Analysis of multiprofessional and interprofessional interventions and strategies for continuing education in health;
- Analysis of health policies, healthcare networks, and/or care pathways;
- Evaluation of the impact of health policies.
Experience in research methodologies, processing and analysis of qualitative data in research in the field of Specialized Care is required, and experience in teaching at a higher level of at least 2 (two) years in health courses. It is essential that the candidate has experience with writing scientific articles and has published at least 5 (five) articles in an indexed scientific journal in the area of public health, graded “A” by the Qualis classification system from CAPES (Brazil's federal research agency).
This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,000.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
