Job profile:
University Assistant (40 hours/week), Department of Psychology, University of Innsbruck. Starting date: 25 June 2025. Main tasks: Independent research in qualitative psychological methods, evaluation research or in health and environmental psychology; research-driven teaching in qualitative methods/mixed methods and/or evaluation, exams and supervision of Bachelor and Master theses as well as co-supervision of PhD students; participation in the faculty research center “Health and Prevention across the Lifespan”; participation in organizational and administrative tasks and in evaluations. Required qualifications: Completed, relevant degree with doctorate in psychology; sound knowledge and experience in the application of qualitative research methods and mixed methods; teaching experience in qualitative and quantitative methodology; experience in the supervision/co-supervision of Bachelor and Master theses; good knowledge of common psychological survey and evaluation methods; Relevant publication activity and relevant scientific achievements beyond the dissertation/PhD; Successful acquisition of third-party funding; Experience in the management and administration of research projects; Professional experience after the dissertation/PhD (at least 24 months); Mobility experience during or after the doctorate/PhD (e.g. research stay of several months); Teamwork skills; Communication skills; Didactic skills; German language skills (at least B2 or willingness to acquire them in a reasonable time); English language skills; The application must include a description of a research project (max. 5 pages) at the level of a higher doctorate ("habilitation") and a teaching concept
