We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can play central roles in education and research in this field. We especially welcome those who actively promote various research projects, practical education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, international exchange, and industry-academia collaboration.

(1) Education and Research at Graduate School of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology: Successful applicant is expected to deliver lectures on his/her areas of expertise, supervise graduate students in both master’s and doctoral courses in their research, and conduct his/her own research.
(2) Education at School of Engineering: Successful applicant is expected to deliver lectures on some topics of computer science, as well as supervise undergraduate students in their research.

Annual salary:5 million yen
Wages description:Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary : Associate Professor 5,732,000-7,840,000yen
An annual salary system is applied.
The amount of annual salary is determined in consideration of the person’s educational background, work experience, etc. according to the Okayama University annual salary Regulations.
The percentage of annual performance pay depends on the length of service within six months prior to the base date (June 1 and December 1) , and the performance rate varies depending on the results of the evaluation.
As allowances, commuting allowance, support allowance, housing allowance, adjustment allowance, etc. will be paid separately to the applicable employees.

Holidays :Saturdays and Sundays, national holidays, and December 29 to January 3 (Article 42, paragraph 2 of the Personnel Work Rules)
