National Institute for Materials Physics - INCDFM, Magurele, Romania, recruits one Senior Scientific Researcher for the position 4 – Researcher in the frame of the project: IMPLEMENTATION OF NOVEL TERAHERTZ SPINTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES FOR NEXT GENERATION NANODEVICES AND THz BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS” contract 47 - PNRR.

This is a temporary position, full-time, 8h/day. The salary grade is complying with the guidelines of the National Recovery and Resilience program PNRR, Component 9 - I8.

Job description: The candidate will participate in research and development activities by carrying out terahertz spectroscopy measurements, data analysis, modeling and simulations, research equipment exploitation.

Job requirements: Extended knowledge in techniques using detection of terahertz radiation, opticxal bench setup using terahertz photoconductive antennas, magnetism and magnetic materials, measurements data handling, processing and analysis, proficiency in English, scientific publishing in peer-reviewed journals, ability for teamwork, ethics and responsibility in research, drive towards achieving project objectives.

Experience: Higher education / graduate (bachelor degree) in the field of Physics, Materials Science, related disciplines. The candidate must hold a PhD degree. Participation in previous research projects, European and national and also authorship of papers in WoS indexed journals of Q1/Q2 level is a plus.
