Offer Description
The Laboratory of Applied Artificial Intelligence (2Ai) of the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (IPCA), open a call for one (1) Research Grant Scholarships for Master, within the scope of the Innovation Pact “DRIVOLUTION - Transition Agenda for the Factory of the Future” (Project 23, Notice No 02/C05-i01/2022, Mobilising Agendas/Alliances for Reindustrialisation and Green Agendas/Alliances for Business Innovation) under and by co-financing the "Mobilising Agendas for Business Innovation" of the Next Generation EU programme of Component 5 of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), relaing to "Capitalisation and Business Innovation", under the Regulation of the Incentive Scheme "Agendas for Business Innovation”.

Specific Requirements
Admission requirements:
- Candidates must have a master's1 degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physical Engineering or related areas;
- The candidates must be enrolled in a master's, integrated master's or doctorate or enrolled in a non-academic course, namely advanced training courses or postgraduate courses, in accordance with the established legal regime in numbers 3 to 6 of article 4 of Decree-Law no. 74/2006, of March 24, in the area of the project or related areas.
- The candidates must be fluent in written and spoken Portuguese, to ensure efficient communication with the researchers and technicians of all partners involved in this activity, and due to all deliverables having to be written in Portuguese.
- Candidates should preferably have knowledge of manufacturing processes with hard metal
powders and/or knowledge of surface treatments and coatings.
