Additional Information
Evaluation criteria:
For the award of the contract, the academic record will be valued at 60%, where two aspects will be taken into account:
1) the grade of the degree or bachelor's degree and master's degree,
2) the grades of the subjects in the field of numerical methods and programming. The candidate's experience in the tasks to be performed in the project will be valued at 30%, in particular his experience in the development of numerical methods and in programming. The remaining 10% will be assessed in a personal interview with the candidate.
A. Academic record (maximum 60 points): A maximum of 30 points will be considered based on the average grade of the records of the required degrees. Preference will be given to candidates with degrees in the field of Civil Engineering (bachelor's, master's, or recognized equivalent master's degrees). In the case of applications with other engineering degrees (or recognized equivalent master's degrees) a weighting factor of 50% of the average grade of the transcript will be applied. The remaining 30 points will be assigned according to the grades of the subjects taken by the candidate in relation to the project tasks related to differential equations, numerical methods, mechanics of structures, computer programming and computational mechanics (2 points for each 6 ECTS). In the case of these subjects, the same weighting will be applied as for the average grade of the academic record depending on the degree taken.
B. Experience related to the activities to be developed (maximum 30 points): B.1. Experience in the development of numerical formulations in the field of fluid mechanics (maximum 15 points). Each year of experience will be valued with a maximum of 10 points. B.2. Experience in programming: experience in programming in languages such as Fortran, Matlab or Python will be valued (maximum 10 points). Each year of experience will be valued with a maximum of 10 points. B.3. Other academic merits (maximum 5 points). Awards or collaboration grants obtained in competitive calls with relation to the project will be valued with 5 points each.
C. Personal interview to the candidates that exceed a score of 65 points in the previous sections (maximum 10 points)
