Offer Description
The position is permanent. The scientific field, for research and teaching, is Experimental Physics of Fundamental Interactions and Applications.
Requested research duties: experimental study of fundamental interactions using astro-particle physics techniques in space and measurement and analysis of astrophysical phe-nomena related to elementary particles; experimental study of charged and neutral co-smic radiation; development of detectors and related components; data analysis also with AI techniques, development of simulation models and data interpretation;
Requested teaching duties: teaching activities in basic physics courses for three-year de-grees and in subjects related to experimental physics at both three-year and master's level, in accordance with the annual program of courses of study active at the Department of Physics;
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 16

Specific Requirements
The following people may apply for the position advertised here:
a) candidates who have obtained national scientific qualification (“A.S.N.”), pursuant to art. 16 of Law no. 240/2010, for the academic recruitment field 02/A1 corresponding to the discipline group covered by the announcement and for the functions covered by the procedure, or for higher functions provided they are not already holders of the same higher functions;
b) candidates who are declared suitable by the Academic Qualifications Procedure, as per law no. 210/1998, for the academic discipline included in the academic recruitment field 02/A1, and for the level corresponding to the position advertised in the selection procedure, or for a higher academic level, as long as they do not hold the position, for the period in which the suitability remains valid;
c) professors already working at other universities at the level corresponding to that of the selection procedure;
d) academics working at universities abroad in teaching or research work at an academic level equal to the level of the position advertised in the selection procedure, on the basis of the table comparing Italian academic positions with positions abroad as defined by the Ministry in Ministerial Decree no. 456/2023.
