• a doctoral degree in the field of engineering and technology, in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy, or in the field of natural sciences in the discipline of physical sciences;
• documented scientific achievements (list of publications) in the form of articles in international or national scientific journals and in the form of conference presentations;
• experience in teaching is welcome;
• the candidate should have general knowledge about background of topics dedicated to nuclear energy and interaction of radiation with matter;
• an additional advantage is an internship, training or practice in a foreign scientific center, implementation of projects and grants and preparation of grant applications;
• organizational achievements;
• active participation in the scientific conferences;
• predisposition to scientific work;
• the candidate should speak English at the level of at least B-2 to the extent that enables scientific work with foreign centers and the preparation of scientific publications;
• the candidate should speak Polish at the level of at least B-2 to the extent that enables teaching activities;
• the willingness to further scientific development and the ability to solve encountered problems.

The candidate must fulfil the following requirements defined in the Polish Law on Higher Education:

1. possesses qualifications defined in the Law,
2. has full legal capacity,
3. has not been punished by final court judgement for intentional offence,
4. enjoys full public rights.

1. a document confirming the possession of a doctorate in the scientific field of engineering and technology or natural sciences, 

2. a document confirming the knowledge of the English language at the level of at least B-2  

3. application, CV, personal questionnaire, 

4. a copy of diplomas and other certificates confirming the qualifications held, 

5. information on scientific activities, 

6. information on teaching and organizational activities, 

7. list of publications.
