Offer Description
Baltic Defence College is a multinational, modern, future-oriented, NATO Accredited Education and Training Facility providing professional military education.
We are looking for a person who has military experience in the NATO command structure, a strong commitment to promoting sustainability and innovative solutions, excellent cooperation and interpersonal skills, accuracy and responsibility, values teamwork and can pursue personal initiatives.
MAIN DUTIES
- Develop and teach modules, electives, and/or classes to students in all courses in the area of NATO Joint sustainment function and particularly in Joint (operational level) logistics and host nation support.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for both faculty and students within the area of expertise.
- Supervise and assess students’ research papers and assignments.
- Conduct research in the expertise area.
- Performs duties of a Syndicate Guiding Officer in accordance with the Commandant’s Order.

Skills/Qualifications
- Extensive experience in planning and executing of Joint logistics in NATO and national operations and exercises, including force deployment, sustainment, and redeployment; and Host Nation Support. Proficient in NATO's COPD and skilled in mentoring Joint Operational Planning Group (JOPG), and operational level working groups and boards (connected to his/her area of expertise).
- Experience in delivering teaching in an academic environment and/or attended the ‘NATO Academic Instructor Course’ at NATO School Oberammergau or an equivalent course at other educational institutions. Other preferable courses are ‘NATO Logistics Planning Course’ and/or ‘NATO Movement and Logistics Operational Planning Course’.
- English proficient user: STANAG 6001, level 3.3.3.3. or a comparable English language performance profile.
- Security clearance level: NATO/EU Secret.
