Research fellow (m/f/d) in the field of Optical Systems with expected 3/4 part- time employment – E 13 TV-L HU (third-party funding, limited until 30.04.2028)

Job description:

• scientific services in research with the goal of development of micro- integrated terahertz quantum-cascade transceivers for highresolution spectroscopy and space applications
• opportunity for own scientific Qualification (doctorate)

Requirements:

• completed scientific university studies (Master degree) in physics
• ideally experience with either infrared/THz optics, semiconductor lasers, laser spectroscopy
• the ability to work in a structured and independent manner
• excellent problem-solving skills, team and communication skills
• excellent language skills (min. C1) in German or English
