• a habilitated doctor`s degree or the title of professor in the discipline of physical sciences or related disciplines;
• experience in experimental work in the synthesis of nanoparticles using chemical methods and conducting research using microscopic methods, vibrational and X-ray spectroscopy;
• knowledge of issues related to nanomaterials, annoparticle-cell interactions, and the use of nanoparticles in cancer therapies

Welcome:

The candidates’ applications are examined and reviewed by the Selection Committee. Based on the submitted applications, the Selection Committee prepares a list of the candidates admitted to the competition and pass it to the Institute Director. The Selection Committee determines the ranking. If need be, the Selection Committee may ask the candidates to give presentations or invite them to interviews. At the session of the Scientific Council the Selection Committee presents a report on its activity with the justification for the choice of the candidate as the winner of the competition.

Type of Contract: For a postdoctoral fellow, an employment contract with IFJ PAN as the primary place of employment.  For a titular professor, an appointment or employment contract.
