Senior researcher II MEL (D)

for project REFRESH - Research Excellence For REgion Sustainability and High-tech Industries (CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000048), research program 2 - METHODS OF MATERIAL PREPARATION BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN AND ATOMIC ENGINEERING
supervised by Prof. Radek Zbořil and Assoc. Prof Štěpán Kment
The position is suitable for both women and men.

Activity description:

• conducting independent research and managing the work of junior researchers,
• participating in collaborations with other partner institutions,
• publishing activity, high-quality manuscript writing,
• participating in the preparation of projects from national and international sources.

Full time equivalent: 0,5
Type of job contract: a two-year contract (possibly extended up to five-years)
Expected start of employment: 1.5.2025 or as agreed

We require:

• academic title of Prof.,
• outstanding scientific results in the field of study on an international scale with high contribution to the research area,
• experience in managing scientific teams,
• H- index of at least 10,
• (co)authorship of at least 30 papers in journals with IF registered on Web of Science (isiknowledge.com),
• involvement in basic/applied/contract research projects, 2 project in 10 years at least.
